Laura Jeanne Reese Witherspoon

Reese Witherspoon

Born : 3-3-1976

Birth Place: New Orleans, Louisiana

Height: 5’2″

Career Start: The Man in the Moon

Witherspoon was selected as a fashion model for a florist’s television advertisements at age seven, which motivated her to take acting lessons. At age eleven she took first place in the Ten-State Talent Fair Witherspoon received good grades in school; she loved reading and considered herself “a big dork who read loads of books.” On mentioning her love for books, she said, “I get crazy in a bookstore. It makes my heart beat hard because I want to buy everything.”

Witherspoon delivered a breakthrough turn as a sensitive and sassy hostage in the controversial Gen-X satire “S.F.W.” (1995) which signaled her move toward more risky, complex roles. She was stalked by a pre-“Boogie Nights” Mark Wahlberg in James Foley’s “Fear” (1996), and kissed her nice girl image good-bye in “Freeway” (1996), where she played a gun-toting, trash-mouthed juvenile delinquent, snarling and pouting her way through a modern-day “Little Red Riding Hood.” Developing a varied and rewarding career seemed to come naturally to the young actress, who held the lessons taught by her mother and grandmother to heart, avoiding roles that catered to dumbed down female teen stereotypes. After she portrayed the wayward daughter of Susan Sarandon and Gene Hackman in “Twilight” (1998), her all-American fresh-scrubbed look and pert demeanor found its way into Gary Ross’ “Pleasantville” (1998), where she and Tobey Maguire starred as 1990s teens who travel back in time to introduce a bold new life force to a 1950s black-and-white world. By the time those films hit theaters, Witherspoon had a bold new force in her own life, having met up-and-coming actor Ryan Phillippe at her 21st birthday party in the spring of 1997. The couple was an instant item and became engaged in late 1998.

I love Reese, I have always loved her charm and how goofy she can be. My favorite films are Legally Blond, Cruel Expectations, Sweet home Alabama, and Monsters vs Aliens. She is great on the screen and continues to grow and expand her roles from the ones that we are used to seeing her in. She is a great role model and I expect to keep seeing flourish in her career and wish her nothing but the best.

Remembering Whitney Houston

In Memory of Whitney Houston

August 9, 1968-February 11, 2012

She was not a petite celeb standing at a tall 5’8″ and had a huge impact in my life. I looked up to her and was  in love with pure soulful voice.  She was truly an icon and will always be remembered and will forever be in our hearts.

After moving to Los Angeles, Bell landed various television guest appearances and small film parts before appearing in a lead role in the David Mamet film Spartan. Her first film role was an uncredited appearance in Polish Wedding. She gained fame and critical praise as the title role on the acclaimed television series Veronica Mars from September 2004 to May 2007.

Kristen Bell is a pretty and funny girl and is actively killing it now a days on the Showtime series House of Lies playing the character of Jeanie Van Der hooven the “Corporate Psychologist” that basically does nothing and watches her co-workers make asses of themselves. I also loved her in When in Rome, I know what you’re probably thinking not a jump up and down great flick. I just loved the story it was kind of cute. Chloe Grace Moretz

Chloe Moretz

Born: 2-10-1997

Birth Place: Atlanta, Georgia

Height:  5’4″

Career Start: The Guardian

Moretz was born in Atlanta, Georgia. Her mother, Terri (née Duke), is a nurse, and her father, McCoy Lee Moretz, is a plastic surgeon. Moretz has four older brothers; Brandon, Trevor, Colin, and Ethan. She has described her family as “very Christian”. One of her brothers, Trevor Duke Moretz, is her acting coach and accompanies her on trips and press dates when her parents are unable to attend.

Moretz moved from Georgia to New York in 2001, with her mother and her older brother, Trevor, because he was accepted into a professional performing arts school; this initially got her interested in acting. Her Hollywood career began when she and the rest of her family moved to Los Angeles in 2003.

Chloe’s first 2 appearances were as Violet in two episodes of “The Guardian” (2001), on TV. Her first movie role was as Molly in Heart of the Beholder (2005), a story about a family who opened the first video cassette store in 1980. This was followed by a small role in Family Plan (2005) (TV) as Young Charlie. But after that came Chloe’s biggest role, and the role that made her famous. In 2005’s remake of The Amityville Horror (2005), Chloe plays Chelsea “Missy” Lutz.

Her biggest appearance of all was playing Isabelle  in the now popular and nominated for eleven academy awards Hugo directed by Martin Scorsese.

Chloe seems to be a very beautiful and talented young lady. She is someone that young girls who want to pursue acting should take an example from . She can nail whatever script that is handed to her whether it be a very nice girl or a tragically scary girl who thirsts for blood.  I respect her talent and hope to see her continue to flourish on the silver screen.

The only child of a doctor father (from Israel) and an artist mother (from Cincinnati, Ohio), who also acts as Natalie’s agent. She left Israel for Washington, D.C., when she was still very young. After a few more moves, her family finally settled in New York, where she still lives to this day. She was pushed towards a career in modeling but she decided that she would rather pursue a career in acting. She was featured in many live performances, but she made her powerful film debut in the movie Leon: The Professional (1994) (aka “Léon”). Following this role Natalie won roles in such films as Heat (1995), Beautiful Girls (1996), and Mars Attacks! (1996).

Not only do Natalie and I share a name but she is also in the petite celeb club just as Mila, who played opposite of her in Black Swan. Natalie is genuinely beautiful and talented. I enjoyed watching her in Leon and her performance in V for Vendetta was phenomenal. She also participates in a lot of charity work in her spare time. Even though she is petite she dresses in the best designer wear and is also the Miss Dior girl who represents their perfumes. I admire her for her talent, education, and her beauty. She is an insperation to all the petite women out there. Anything is possible!
